SqWebMail on TIGER (OS X 10.4+) Server or Client

This package contains the SqWebMail webmail CGI. SqWebMail is very fast, and light. It accesses maildirs directly, and does not use an IMAP server. Can be installed in addition to SquirrelMail, side by side. It requires that "Courier Authentication Library" is already installed. (Courier-Authlib 0.59)

Prerequisites:

pcre-6.6.pkg.tgz

Download SqWebMail 5.3.1 and install the package. (Build instruction )

open -e /private/etc/httpd/httpd.conf

add the following line to wherever the aliases are:

Alias /sqwebmail_images/ "/usr/local/courier-sqwebmail/images/"

sudo apachectl graceful restart

Reboot your server or start up via command line:

/usr/local/courier-sqwebmail/libexec/sqwebmaild.rc start
