since the first of the year every piece of mail is getting tagged with an extra 2.1 points for having a date in the distant future. It appears that SpamAssasin is not handling the new decade properly. The emails all seem to have correct dates in the headers. Anyone else seeing this?

Ok... simply putting Spamassassin 2010 into Google brings up piles of pages explaining the bug. Don't know why I didn't do that first.

Here's the first one:

How about a fixed version of SpamAssassin to fix this issue?

I think I found a fix for this without having to recompile SpamAssassin. I did the following and it appears to have fixed this issue:

If you need to disable this test manually, place the following in your local.cf file:

score FH_DATE_PAST_20XX 0.0

Don't forget to RESTART SpamAssassin or your server for the change to work.
